Clay retreat: Relax and create in the mountains

Join us for a delightful one-day handbuilding figurines workshop in the Blue Mountains. This immersive experience is perfect for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts looking to explore the art of sculpting and painting ceramic figurines.

This is an outdoor class under cover-rain or shine

Workshop Schedule:

- Morning Session (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM):
  - Begin your creative journey with a 2.5-hour sculpting session, where you'll craft up to three medium-sized figurines.(or mini ring dishes with a figurine)

- Lunch Break (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM):
  - Enjoy a 1-hour break to have lunch. You can bring your own meal to enjoy on-site, explore the charming cafes in Leura, or relax by the nearby lake. For your convenience, we offer drop-off services for those arriving by train.

- Afternoon Session (1:30 PM - 4:00 PM):
  - Return for a 2.5-hour painting session to bring your creations to life with vibrant colors.

What's Included:

- All necessary materials and tools for sculpting and painting.
- Snacks (sweet and savory) and a selection of beverages.
- Firing and glazing services
- Option to pick up your finished pieces or have them delivered for an additional fee.

Our workshop is located in Leura, a beautiful village in the Blue Mountains, known for its vibrant arts scene and scenic landscapes. The exact address and further details will be provided upon booking.

Additional Information:

- Class sizes are kept small to ensure personalized attention.
- No prior experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome.
- Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit of clay or paint on, or an apron (although the clay and underglaze doesn't stain on clothes) and something warm (it can get cold sometimes up in the mountains!)
